Hi! this is a collection of photos, ideas and tips
related to B.E.A.M. robotics.Although I'm not gonna teach you anything you can still get ideas and tips on building, where to find all those precious little parts without online ordering (although I love solarbotic's part selection!) and I'm workin on a few schematics of some of my own 'bots.

The picture to the right is my RBF (robotic birth factory). It also doubles as my RPA (robot play area). Try not to laugh. It's a small area but it holds all my tools, parts, and the cool light I got at a swap meet/flea market for 3.00,(that I put a 150 watt garage light in for maximum robot action) and doubles as a workbench for soldering. Every once in a while I save some money for a load of robot parts and when they arive I hide away in my room in my little robot corner and build little solar light eating creatures.

My friends all call me "the Grand Master Pimp Daddy of Electronics" but if they only knew who Mr.Tilden was and how clean and smooth his 'bots are they'd be flat out amazed.

new update!!! Monday,may,13th
New Pictures!!!
check the photo's page and the new photo's page #2 that only has a couple 'bots on it... but more to come! I have a busy work schedule right now but I'm still trying to pump out 'bots. check out the new robots I made at the Los Alamos National Lab sponsored Solarbotics run B.E.A.M. workshop! A shockpopper, a two motor walker with lots of switches for obstacle avoidance and even a Turbot!I even recieved some bicore and tricore tiles from Mark Tilden! they are on the photos page too.
what are you waiting for? go look.
my website got halfway erased on the homepage so I have to rebuild... please be patient.

I'm also going to have a shcematic page soon... I promise! and I'd like to put up a tutorial on how to compactly and easily freeform a photovore.

a new update is just around the corner. I have a single bicore MICROWALKER to add to the pictures page (really cool!) and a 3 motor walker and a 1/8 solarcell'd photovore. All coming as soon as I upload the pictures....stay tuned!

New update 7/29/2002 !!!
check out all of those cool bots! tons of photos put up today and a few more pages including a guestbook wich I wish everyone that visits would take the time to sign....if thy have the time.4 new robots added to the photo pages and pictures of some of them moving. I have also don' some more work on my turbot.chack it out!

this is how the robot corner looks now....after the los alamos workshop.
It seems to slowly be taking over the room! I have so many robots that everywhere I look I see cicuit boards and little electronic gizmos. the weekend of may 18th and 19th I'm going to have a couple friends over to hold a "mini workshop" in the garage. I'll post pictures of the "mini workshop" and people attending. Maybe some cool new 'bots will be cooked up after long hard hours of solder exhausting robot crazy fiends get to the building table!
